Who we are

Online Degree Match is an online education discovery and matching resource. We help prospective students explore degree options and connect with colleges, universities, and related education partners that may offer programs aligned with their goals. We are not a college, university, or admissions office, and we do not grant degrees or financial aid.

Scope

This policy covers information processed through the Site, including our matching questionnaire, confirmation pages, and related web forms (such as contact, unsubscribe, and privacy preference requests). It does not cover websites or services operated by schools or other third parties, even if you reach them through our Site. Their privacy notices apply to those experiences.

Categories of information we collect

We collect information directly from you when you fill out forms; automatically from your browser or device; and from advertising or analytics partners that help us understand traffic sources. We do not require you to create an account to use the matching experience.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

• Provide and operate the matching experience, including validating inputs and showing confirmation summaries
• Share inquiry details with participating schools and education partners so they can follow up about programs that may fit your interests

When we disclose information

Depending on how you use the Site, we may disclose personal information to:

• Education institutions and partners — colleges, universities, and related providers that participate in our matching network, so they can contact you about programs, admissions, or enrollment next steps. Those organizations process your information under their own privacy policies.
• Service providers — companies that host the Site, support analytics, email delivery, customer support tooling, or security, under contractual limits on use.
• Advertising / measurement partners — where we use cookies or similar tools to understand campaign performance or deliver relevant messaging.
• Legal and corporate recipients — regulators, law enforcement, or advisors when required or appropriate; and successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

We do not sell student contact lists in the traditional sense of a public directory sale. Under some state laws, certain disclosures for advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered a "sale" or "share." You can submit a preference request on our Do Not Sell My Info page.

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to keep sessions working, remember preferences, measure traffic, and attribute marketing campaigns. International visitors

The Site is operated from the United States and intended primarily for U.S. audiences. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you understand that your information may be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
